Bandung – Cimahi macet parah di malam tahun baru 2009
Malam pergantian tahun baru 2009 kemarin benar-benar “berkesan”. Dengan adanya bayi baru, kami sekeluarga tidak berencana merayakannya dengan aktifitas di luar rumah. Jadi setelah kebaktian tutup tahun di gereja di Bandung, kami segera meluncur pulang ke Cimahi. Namun perjalanan ke rumah yang biasanya bisa ditempuh dalam waktu rata-rata 30 – 45 menit menjadi sangat lama. Kami mulai jalan dari gereja di Jl. Luna – Jamika Bandung sekitar pukul 20.20, namun hingga pukul 22.30 (sudah 2 jam lebih) kami baru berjalan sekitar 1 km sampai daerah Cibeureum. Mobil-mobil tidak bisa bergerak maju. Lampu dan mesin mobil-mobil sudah dimatikan sambil bengong menanti kesempatan bergerak. Beberapa penumpang mobil, berdiri di sepanjang jalan sambil ngobrol menunggu kesempatan bergerak.
Sambil bengong, kami melihat ada hotel di Cibeureum. Mengingat bayi dan anak-anak yg sudah kecapekan, akhirnya kami masuk ke hotel tsb pukul 22.30 WIB. Terpaksa deh kami menginap di hotel yang biasanya bisa ditempuh dari rumah dalam waktu kurang dari 30 menit. Ada untung dan ruginya menginap di sana. Untungnya, malam itu kami sekeluarga bisa beristirahat di hotel tsb. Kabarnya, kemacetan tsb baru bisa terurai sekitar pukul 01.30 esok harinya. Ruginya: keluar biaya yang terduga yg lumayan u/ menginap di hotel tsb.
Kalau bisa memilih, lebih baik menginap di tempat lain dari pada di hotel tsb. Selain biayanya yg lumayan (karena malam tahun baru juga), fasilitasnya jadul banget. Tidak ada fasilitas bermain untuk anak-anak. Jadi hotel tsb hanya untuk dipakai tidur malam itu dgn check-in hampir tengah malam dan check-out keesokan harinya. Tau gini, mending sekalian nginap di Lembang dan pilih-pilih tempat untuk acara keluarga 🙂
