Aaron Greenspace, seorang pemilik account Google Adsense yang ditutup oleh Google telah mengajukan tuntutan kepada Google dan menang. Oleh sidang Google diwajibkan membayar USD 761 kepada Aaron. Aoron menuliskan pengalamannya ini di Internet dan dengan cepat berita ini menyebar luas dan memberi publisitas tidak sedap bagi Google. Setelah berita tersebut menyebar, alih-alih membayar kepada Aaron, Google mengajukan banding dan dinyatakan menang. Jadi Google tidak lagi wajib membayar kepada Aaron.
Bagi pemilik account Google Adsense, pengalaman Aaron ini layak disimak. Salah satu moral cerita ini:
- jangan nulis apa-apa sebelum menerima bayaran dari Google 🙂
- akhirnya Aaron mendapat penjelasan mengapa accountnya ditutup Google, suatu jawaban yang tidak pernah diperolehnya sebelum dia mengajukan tuntutan ke pengadilan.
- kalau punya pengalaman ditutup account oleh Google, mungkin mengajukan tuntutan ke pengadilan bisa membuat Google memberikan alasan mengapa account tsb ditutup 🙂
